Graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Sherry has played numerous roles during her seven years as a member of the Shaw Festival Company in Niagara-on-the-Lake. She was in the first Canadian production at the Royal Alexander Theatre in Toronto (The Real Thing). Her versatility as a character actress has cast her in roles ranging from eleven year old girls (Mary in The Secret Garden) to eighty year old women (Madame Dubose in To Kill A Mockingbird). Her one-woman show, Woman of Labrador; The Elizabeth Goudie Story, has been performed throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia as well as Toronto. She resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia with her husband and three children.
