Shendrita Ajvazi was born in Gjilan, Kosovo [former Yugoslavia]. She is an Albanian Canadian actress who moved to Toronto, Ontario in 1999 during the war in Yugoslavia. Shendrita, her parents and her three siblings lived in Toronto for a few years then later moved to St.Catharines, Ontario.
