Sheila Shah is rapidly making her mark in both film and Television. She landed her first role as an FBI Agent in the highly successful franchise "Saw V" (2008) directed by David Hackl. Since then she has appeared in other films and TV shows such as the action feature film Mafia playing opposite Ving Rhames, and Pam Grier, FOX's drama feature "Heart of The Country" with Gerald McRaney and CBS's TV show "How to be a Gentleman". Sheila continues to hone her craft, training with Aaron Speiser.Sheila Shah grew up in Montreal, Canada, and relocated to Toronto when she was thirteen. Sheila speaks fluent Farsi, French and English. Sheila's true calling was evident throughout her early years, from dance performances to theatre and modeling, and in 2001, she won the title of Miss Iran, Canada. Late in 2007, she decided to relocate to Los Angeles to finally pursue acting full time.The sister of twin brothers, one with cerebral palsy, Sheila has become the Ambassador of March of Dimes and helped create awareness for the disease. Sheila is also an Advocate for CARE to help fight poverty by empowering women and girls. She has also helped other organization such as David Lynch Foundation and Go Campaign.Prior to dedicating herself to acting, and having come from conservative parents, Sheila was persuaded to study medicine. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, a Post Graduate Degree in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs, and subsequently worked in the pharmaceutical industry in both Toronto and Miami. While in Los Angeles, Sheila realized another passion of hers, graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree in Merchandise Marketing from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Show less «
