Shari's love for the theater started in 1980 when she became involved in community theater. She attended college at the age of 41. She received a BS in Speech Communicaton and Social work. She also published a book in 2004 on the Distructive Disease Of Alzheimer's and It's Effects. In 2014, she decided to retire for from her job as an ER medical social worker at a local hospital in Hattiesburg, MS in 2014 and decided to follow her dream of becoming an actress at the age of 69. Because of her love and passion for acting, she began acting classes at John Robert Powers Acting Academy in New Orleans. This was the beginning of her journey into following her dream. While at JRP, she auditioned and was accepted to participate in the International Presentation Of Performers in Los Angeles, California, and received 6 awards in the adult division. She continues her training at That's A Wrap Acting and Film studio in Hattiesburg, MS and attends as many work shops as possible. Without the determination and support of her loving husband following her dream would not be a reality.
