Shane grew up with a love for acting and movies, often imagining himself playing a role in the movies he watched and dream of being a big Hollywood star. He would quickly push those thoughts and dreams out of mind for fear of failure and ridicule. Shane instead focused almost every second of his childhood toward sports. His competitive nature with his older brother, Shawn, and their many friends led to him being successful in baseball, football, basketball, golf, soccer and bowling.Shane has held many different jobs in many different fields including banking, corrections, sales, health care and light industrial. He finally put his fears behind him and his passion for film/acting in front of him with encouragement from his wife Laura and good friend, (actress/model) Katie Stewart-Saunders, and took a small role in a local movie "Chain of Events". Upon completing shooting on Chain of Events, Producer/Director Marcus McDonald told Shane that he "was a natural" and Shane was hooked and had been bitten by the acting bug.Shane got to work with Stewart again, landing the role of a zombie in Stewart's own production of the web series tentatively called, "Dead State". Shane's youngest daughter, Raegan, who only went with him to watch, ended up landing a small role of a zombie as well. Shane cherishes the fact that he got to do something he loves with one of the people he loves the most.Shane has been happily married to his wife Laura for ten years and they have three kids; Matthew, Jaelyn and Raegan. In his spare time, Shane cherishes spending time with his family and friends, going to movies and sporting events, singing karaoke and also writes sports blogs about his favorite team, the University of Louisville Cardinals.
