Born in ingolstad, near munchen in 1983, he grew up in Germany. In 1986, his father decided to relocate his family back to his homeland in Turkey. Sezer began to study theatre school in izmir. His road to fame began when his moved to Birmingham in 2002, he began acting in feature films, and he made his own directorial debut with a short film in 2008.
