Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Sez Niederer trained at the prestigious Drama Centre London in the UK, receiving a BA (Honours) Acting. Sez now works as an actor and first assistant director in New Zealand and Australia. She is represented by Auckland Actors in New Zealand and by Williams Management in Australia.Sez is the lead actress in the successful independent NZ feature film 'This Giant Papier Mache Boulder Is Actually Really Heavy'. The film has screened at numerous international film festivals and garnered several awards, including Best Comedy at both Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival and Sci-Fi London Film Festival.Other film work includes roles in arthouse feature film 'Stray' (dir. Dustin Feneley) and short film 'The Pleasures of Colour' (dir. Dane Knowles). Her TV work includes roles on 'Step Dave' and 'Power Rangers'. In theatre, Sez has played lead roles in sell-out shows of original plays 'It Ends With The Sea' and 'Wild Beasts' at the Auckland Fringe Festival. Sez played Anitra in the Company of Angels production of 'The Woods' in London. Her work as a voice artist includes narrating the BBC Audiobook of the novel 'Generation A' by best-selling author Douglas Coupland, along with numerous radio ads.
