When Sergio saw a talent booth sign-up at age 7 at a Home Expo in San Diego he was immediately drawn to it. At a young age, Sergio would charm his mom and dad and imitate the infomercials on TV to seal the deal so he could get what he wanted. This was the first thing that drew attention to Sergio's family and himself as a possible life career choice. When asked, Sergio never really thought about acting as a career, he just thought he knew how to speak well, but no doubt he was a natural born actor. At age 12 Sergio took formal acting classes at San Diego Junior Theatre. Sergio made his first television appearance as himself with celebrity chef Tyler Florence on the series "Food 911" on Food Network, a show where chef hopefuls email Tyler as a plea for help. Sergio emailed Food Network with his own plea to help him prepare an authentic Italian meal at age 12 for his mom and was picked. He was the youngest person to appear as a guest on "Food 911." Soon after, Sergio obtained a talent agent in Los Angeles, and a year later booked three guest starring roles on the Nickelodeon series entitled, "Unfabulous" with Emma Roberts. After a loss in the family, Sergio had to withdraw from the industry after booking those episodes, and was even offered to audition for a new Nick series as a principle before his grandmother became terminally ill. Even with this tremendous loss in the midst of his teen career, he maintains passion of his craft, and making his childhood and lifelong dreams come true. Show less «
