Serafino Profumo was basically the Robert Tessier of deliciously down'n'dirty Italian exploitation features made throughout the 70s and 80s. Big, bald and brawny, with a thick, furry mustache, an evil, leering grin, and an extremely aggressive and intimidating screen presence, Profumo was often cast in secondary parts as especially vile, brutish, and hateful villains in spaghetti Westerns, Nazisploitation entries, and chicks-in-chains romps. He had a rare lead as cruel plantation owner Richard Hunter in the seamy "Mandinga." Serafino Profumo's other memorable roles include a vicious Nazi sergeant in "SS Experiment Love Camp," the ruthless Lt. Hans in "SS Camp: Women's Hell," and sadistic women's prison camp guard Martinez in the supremely scuzzy "Escape from Hell." Show less «
