The son of a professional football player and a screenwriter, Sean was born in Langley, British Columbia while his dad played for the Canadian Football League BC Lions, and later moved to Regina, Saskatchewan, before landing in Toronto at age 12, where his acting career kicked in. As a child actor he appeared in the long-running Gemini Award winning TV series Ghostly Encounters, airing across North America, and followed that with appearances in the series In Dreams. He attended Toronto's Rosedale Heights School of the Arts, where, although not yet a senior, he starred in the main stage production as the rakish Tom Jones. He also played both Hermes and Eros in a challenging adaptation of Metamorphoses, and in his senior year won the school's Drama Award. Sean recently won a coveted spot at London's prestigious Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. Sean also plays the guitar and sings, and became bilingual in 2014 when he spent four months as the roadie for the French blues band Jersey Julie, touring across Europe.
