Dr. Scott Kelly is best known for his supporting role as the "Pooping Father" in the upcoming movie Bastards (along side Owen Wilson). He has studied the Stanislavski Method for over 15+ years since his undergraduate studies at Francis Marion University and continues to be a student. To stay on set and active between cast roles, Scott does extensive Stand In and Photo Double work in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.He was born in Akron, Ohio but has lived most of his life in South Carolina and Georgia. Scott earned his PhD in Economics from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina in May 2005. Scott also graduated from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina with a Bachelors Degree in Economics in May 2000 with minors in Math, Political Science, and History (while also studying and participating in theater). His determined and perfectionist nature has allowed him to excel in a variety of careers. Prior to entering the entertainment industry, Scott spent 15 years as a university economics and business professor and spent 7 of those years also coaching men's college basketball. In addition to acting, Scott also conducts Economic Impact Studies for sci-fi and comic conventions. He is active in the Brolo Nation, an online group created for entertainment industry professionals, and he supports the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and disabled animals. Show less «
