Sardia was selected to perform her infectiously hilarious stand-up comedy act to open for the R&B group "The Whispers" at the Microsoft Theatre, earning praise as "someone to definitely watch." She wrote and stars in her award winning, one woman show, From a Yardie to a Yankee, the gripping, gut wrenching true story of her courageous life journey from the murderous streets of Kingston, Jamaica to the deadly consequences of Chicago's drug wars.Audiences raved about From a Yardie to a Yankee at New York's United Solo Theatre Festival, The Atlanta Black Theatre Festival, Shakespeare in Paradise and the Hollywood Fringe Festival, where she was recognized with the festival's "Innovative Women in Theatre" Award.
