Sarah Dionna was born in Greenwood, SC in 1985 and grew up in Ninety Six, SC. In 2004 she joined the United States Marine Corps and was medically retired two years later after being diagnosed with service connected Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. To raise awareness for the syndrome, Sarah began sharing her story in YouTube videos, which led to her interest in becoming an actor and filmmaker.She is best known for her role in the film What Becomes of Us (2018) and as a host in the YouTube series Cooking with Sarah Dionna (2019).
