Santana Draper began his passion for the arts acting on the Theatre's stage. He also began teaching himself to draw at age 4. By age 10 Santana was regularly performing a "9 show run" stage production and forming his now highly successful apparel company, paper toy® by Santana Draper.Born in Sugar Land, Texas Santana knew he wanted to create art and showed promise as a self-taught visual artist and passionate actor. After booking several commercials, he landed his first taste of film acting with an appearance in Director's Quentin Tarantino's Blockbuster, Django Unchained. Then later HBO's highly acclaimed Boardwalk Empire and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Like the great actors before him, Santana continue to sharpened his craft and landed the role of Travis Younger in Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun. In the fall of 2012, the world was introduced to then 10 year old Santana Draper's art inspired apparel collection simply named paper toy® by Santana Draper.Santana's other television credits include young Lionel Richie in "Oprah Present's Master Class"; Prep School Student on "Gotham"; and Science Kid in "The Fantastic Four".Santana is the consummate performer whether it is acting on stage, film or displaying his works of art on canvas in art exhibitions in fine art galleries; he enjoys creating works of art for your enjoyment. Santana's guiding light is his parents and grandmother as motivation to follow his dreams of becoming a working actor and a visual artist. His love for visual art stems from his grandmother, Berndette, who speaks 3 languages. His work ethic is derived from his great-grandmother, Lydia, the mathematician. Santana's heritage is African descendant specifically Madagascar along with a strong southeastern Louisiana influence. Show less «
