Latin-Canadian actress, Sandra Aguilar was born in Toronto. Her father, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and mother, born in Baranquilla, Colombia. Sandra began her professional career on stage in the 2005-2007 theatre production of "The Bride". Sandra was actually pregnant during the last run of the show in 2007. Shortly after, she took a break from her career to focus on her family.Sandra Aguilar made her way back into the industry in 2013, focusing in on Film & Television. She began with performing some voice over work for the Colour Me documentary and Prison Fellowship International television series. She also appeared in several documentary-drama television shows such as, See No Evil, Forbidden, Bizarre Murders, etc. Throughout her career she has appeared in many American, Canadian and worldwide commercials for Nivea, Frito Lay, Whirlpool, Microsoft, MasterCard, Great Wolf Lodge, etc.More recently, Sandra played the lead role of Mariela in 'CLIMB The Live Album', performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the entire month of August in 2019. The show received 4 stars from Musical Theatre Review, along with a 'Hidden Gem' from Fringe Review.Sandra has trained at the Professional Actors Lab under Glen Gaston & Marvin Hinz, and more recently at the Centre for the Arts with John Boylan.
