Samuel Augustin, born Samuel-Taylor Bruno Augustin is an actor, writer, and director. He is the son of Charmaine and Bruno Augustin, and the eldest of three brothers, Jacob and Nathaniel Augustin. Samuel was born in Boston, Massachusetts, where he lived for the first five years of his life before moving to Dacula, Georgia, where he grew up.Samuel took a liking to acting after seeing his middle school's production of Peter Pan. Shortly after, he joined his school's drama program, where his first acting role was Mr. Bumble in Oliver! He attended Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia, where he starred in and directed school plays. During school, he also decided to try film acting, where his first role was as an extra in The 5th Wave (2016). After that, he decided that he wanted to pursue both film and stage acting. His first on-screen lead role was in a SCAD student film called Wrench (2016), where he played the role of Collin.Drawing significant artistic inspiration from NYU alumnus Donald Glover, Samuel decided to pursue his actor training and education at NYU Tisch School of the Arts in the Meisner studio (c/o 2021).
