Sahara is an American actress born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and raised in Brooklyn, New York spending much of her time on stage & art studio through our her early school years. Sahara has explored her instrument in various ways; her first encounter on the stage was singing solo after being discovered by her chorus teacher.Sahara attended and graduated from Pratt Institute. Her mother, Lidia Rodriguez, passed away tragically when Sahara was 9 years old. Both performing & visual arts have been a major part of her life. She is an abstract painter that uses a unique technique with oils on Japanese rice paper. While attending high school, she performed throughout many schools in New York City singing and dancing as she was the school's lead choreographer.While working on her associates degree at Kingsborough Community, Sahara became enamored with acting but decided to pursue a degree in Political Science and later attended Pratt Institute. After attaining a masters degree and working in her field of study she decided to join the Stella Adler community and train as a professional actress. Since she has worked with Susan Batson, Todd Thadler, Alberto Bonilla, Cloe Xhauflaire, Fiona Graham, Leonor Harris, Grace Kiley and many others as she and continues to work on her craft. In 2015, Marlowe was featured in the comedy-drama film, Miles; has appeared in TV shows like Mr. Robot, Billions, and The Deuce.After taking a break to recover from surgery for endometriosis Sahara has joined the cast of the short film Cabin, and is currently working on other feature films and continuously submitting for roles. She continues her dance training at Peridance Capezio Center in NYC and performs with bollywood company Shiamak Davar Dance Academy in New York.Sahara founded Lidia Lives Foundation in honor of her late mother, early 2016 to help orphanages around the world.
