Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Ryan began modeling and acting at a young age at Avant Studios after he was discovered at an open call. When he was 17, he joined the US Navy and became an aircraft mechanic on the A6-E Intruder during Gulf War 1. After his service he began acting again. Ryan also worked as the Executive Assistant to the SrVP of TNT & TBS Originals for many years. In 2010, he made a career change back to aviation and works as a commercial airline pilot and flight instructor. He resides in San Diego with his wife, daughter and son. Show less «
