Actress Ryan Bartley was born in the heart of Texas - Fort Worth (Cowtown), Texas. Ryan began her acting career when she was only six years old, performing with a musical theater touring company and performing in various plays and musicals at Creative Arts Theater and School in Arlington, Texas. Ryan was accepted into the prestigious theater program at the magnet arts high school, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, located in Dallas, Texas. Ryan began working in voice-over, first performing for Radio Disney, recording dozens of radio spots, and later voicing the lead character, Emi Ito, for the New Horizon English Textbook used throughout the country of Japan to teach school-aged children English.Ryan completed high school a year early and was ranked second in her class at that time. Thereafter, she relocated from Dallas to Los Angeles, where she immediately booked her first major feature film, a Lifetime movie entitled Queensized starring Nikki Blonsky and Annie Pots. Ryan also lent her voice to several Build-A-Bear Workshop radio campaigns.While pursuing her acting career in Los Angeles, Ryan has earned her Bachelor's Degree in Cinema-Television Critical Studies and a minor in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May of 2012 and a Phi Beta Kappa. During her time at USC, Ryan hosted sixty-four (64) episodes of the television show The Cutting Edge which airs on Channel 8 and LA36 in Los Angeles. Ryan also attended the 2010 Sundance Film Festival on behalf of USC, interviewing A-list celebrities on the red carpet, including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei, Sissy Spacek, Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, and many, many more.Ryan is a devout Texas Rangers baseball fan, an animation addict, and an avid animal rights advocate.
