Ross McCormack's career began on the West End stage aged 9 where he played lead roles in no less than three West End musicals for Cameron Mackintosh. His training was at a NY Film School and the prestigious Tring Park School for the Performing Arts (formerly Arts educational School). Ross is of Anglo-Irish descent and was raised in Essex, not only a very talented actor, he is also an highly skilled drummer and played the world famous drummer; Kenny Jones of The Small Faces in a biographical play about that very same group. Ross has gone on to appear in a number of television series and films in the UK. Most recently Ross played Young Singe in the feature film Mum's List which is due for release in 2016, Ross's character in adult life is played by the English actor Rafe Spall, the film, written and directed by Niall Johnson (White Noise, Keeping Mum), is based on the best-selling book by St John (Singe) Greene. It centres on Singe and Kate, a couple from North Somerset, whose lives were turned upside down when Kate was diagnosed with an incurable breast cancer.
