Director, producer, writer, executive and philanthropist, Ron Singer is a film industry veteran, a member of the Director's Guild of America, an Executive of That's Hollywood, Inc., and a Director at Engaging the Senses Foundation.Ron has directed "The Story of Everything", written by Kealoha the Poet Laureate of Hawaii; a documentary theatre piece which combines poetry, artwork, dance, Hawaiian chants, music and science into an unforgettable feature length performance.As an executive producer, Ron nurtured the first motion picture produced and completed under Engaging the Senses Foundation's philanthropic educational film program, Faulkner's emotion stirring and racially charged "Mississippi Requiem", together with Elysium Bandini (starring James Franco, Alicia Witt, Topher Grace) which debuted at the prestigious 2018 Nashville Film Festival.Among Ron's body of work are the recently released 70's comedy "Zeroville", adapted from the book by Steve Erickson (starring James Franco, with Seth Rogan, Megan Fox, Will Farrell, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and Joey King). Among past released films are Steinbeck's "In Dubious Battle" (its amazing cast: James Franco, Nat Wolff, Selena Gomez, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ed Harris, Sam Shepard, Brian Cranston, Ashley Greene, Zach Braff, Josh Hutcherson, Analeigh Tipton, and Robert Duvall); the controversial Sundance favorite "I Am Michael" (with James Franco, Zachary Quinto and Emma Roberts), and the star studded "The Bronx Bull" based on the true life story of boxing legend Jake LaMotta (with William Forsythe, Alicia Witt, Joe Mantegna, Juliet Landau, Paul Sorvino, Penelope Ann Miller, Natasha Henstridge, Tom Sizemore and Cloris Leachman)Other past films include the renaissance faire based comedy "All's Faire in Love" with Patriot Pictures, starring Christina Ricci, Cedric the Entertainer and Ann-Margret, released in 2011. Ron produced the thriller "Hit and Run" for MGM, starring Laura Breckenridge and Kevin Corrigan, released in 2009. Ron produced several pictures with Mindfire Entertaiment, "The Specials" starring Rob Lowe, and notably "Free Enterprise" starring William Shatner which has become a cult classic.Ron is working on and developing new projects, and resides in Beverly Hills, California with his wife and daughter.
