Leona went to school in Hackney, and left with 7 C.S.E's Including English, Art, Drama, Social Studies and Film Studies. She went to an after school drama club in Islington. As well as gaining an LOCF access diploma in Theatre Studies and Stage Craft with lecturer Lee Eliot and Amanda Deller who brought out the best in her, at the Bethnal Green Institute. She went to Holloway Women's prison with her access theatre group, and put on a play about domestic violence followed by a workshop with the inmates. She auditioned for Rose Bruford School of speech and Drama. She failed the audition and not one to give up got out there and studied at the University of life, doing short courses in Drama at the City Lit with Irene Bradshaw and In Hoxton with Jenny Lipman. A big fan of stage, she has been in stage, film and television productions. Leona is pushing towards comedy acting. Leona has recorded 3 songs with Louis Cruz. She went on to open her own florist/New age shop, and took many courses in holistic therapies and is qualified in Crystal healing, Reiki and Past life Regression.
