Rocío Garcel (born on September 18, 1948 in Mexico City) is a Mexican dubbing actress. Known internationally for lending her voice to Bulma in the Spanish-language version for Latin America of Dragon Ball, she has also lent her voice to the iconic character Astro Boy. At the beginning of the 80s, she moved to work in the companies and dubbing studios in Los Angeles, California accompanied by her husband Jorge Roig. Both had the opportunity to participate in various Hollywood productions such as Alien: the eighth passenger, where she played Lieutenant Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver), The Endless Story, where she played Bastian Bux (Barret Oliver) and Splash, where she played Madison (Daryl Hannah), among many others. His artistic training was carried out at the Andrés Soler Institute of ANDA, for three years. Her uninterrupted work, added to the extensive knowledge she has of the dubbing technique and the care put into her daily work, makes her one of the most important figures in this specialty.
