Robert Fredrickson (aka Robert Adams/Robert Frederick) was born in Northern California. After studying and earning a degree in 1980 at UCLA alongside Tim Robbins and others, Robert was hired by the Western Stage in Salinas, California where he performed in Shakespeare and other classical repertory works including an adaptation of Steinbeck's Cannery Row. Robert studied in New York City with members of the esteemed Circle Repertory and worked with June Stein, Stuart White and the late playwright John Bishop. He was seen in new play festivals including New Dramatists, the Padua Hills Playwrights Festival and the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, and as an actor helped to develop new voices in playwriting. He performed in the US premiere of Joshua Sobel's Ghetto at the Mark Taper Forum and was cast in Pumpkinhead, now a Halloween classic, as well as False Identity with Stacy Keach, and the short film Radio Inside, a short which won the Samuel Goldwyn Award. He has been involved with the Aspen Film Festival and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival conducting onstage interviews with visiting directors and actors. Show less «
