Robert Dean moved from Connecticut to New York in pursuit of his childhood dream to become a comedian. After grinding for more than 10 years, Robert is well established in the New York City comedy scene and is able to get stage time at the best shows in the city, but he wants more. He has a natural presence when performing and is clearly meant to be engaging audiences from the stage. Going to Montreal is the next huge step for Robert, but he has yet to reach this goal. This is Robert's eighth year trying out for JFL. While his tenacity is inspiring, it remains to be seen whether he has what it takes to finally get into the biggest comedy festival in the world, one that could sky rocket him out of the New York comedy scene.
