Robert Callaghan was born in 1998 in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. A student at St. Pauls and previously St.Annes national school. At age 13 Robert attended his first audition for the lead role of Moone Boy (2012). Having no previous acting experience Robert was not expecting to land a major role. However after the initial audition the casting agency were so impressed by Roberts natural acting gift that they invited him in again. He was then called back for another two auditions and was in the final three actors to play the lead role. The position was given to David Rawle another gifted young actor and Robert played the character of Alan in episode 6 of the first series. Robert has since completed movie writing training with Laurence Henson and concentrating on broadening his skills in production as well as continuing advancing his acting skills. Show less «
