Rob Wuesthoff is a top level actor, writer, producer and director who started his career in the theater department at Long Beach City College in the early 1980s under the direction of Shashin Desai, Jan Quinn and James DePreist, and at South Coast Repertory Theater in Orange County with James Wilson. In 1986 Rob began studying with Scott-Arthur Allen and Kathryn Daley at Creative Actors Workshop in Burbank, Ca. where he perfected his craft. "Creative Actors was the most comprehensive training an actor can get. We prepared and performed three different pieces every week. The experience was amazing," Rob recalls. In 1990 Rob was coached more privately by Kathryn Daley and was cast by Mark Teschner for General Hospital directly from a showcase. Rob recently returned to acting after a 20 year hiatus, a little older and a lot wiser, and has been working constantly with student filmmakers at USC and other universities, as well as independent filmmakers and productions creating compelling content while amassing a stout video resume. In 2014 Rob began focusing his energies more specifically toward acting and did 16 projects and shorts including a featured role in THE BOUNCE BACK starring Shemar Moore and directed by Youssef Delara of Cima Pictures. In November 2014 Rob played Martin Brown in Takanakuy directed by Austin Kolodny and was written-in to a new "web-series" titled Electives which is due for production in January 2015. Rob is known for being someone who encourages and inspires others to pursue their dreams and goals, and never give up on that which you love.
