Richard Fresca was born in Highland Park, Illinois to an Italian mother and a Hungarian father. Growing up as the son of immigrants, in the suburbs of Chicago, he was exposed to the works of The Second City, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and the locally made films of John Hughes. All of which fueled his love for comedy, performing arts and stories as told through the lens of a camera. He's a self proclaimed "late bloomer" and worked as a Mechanical Engineer before returning to his love of storytelling. He studied acting at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and performed and trained at Comedy Sportz.
