Born in Brooklyn NYC, then transplanted to Atlanta Georgia, Richard began acting in high school. Starting out in theatre, then transitioning to film and television, Richard is quoted as saying, "Communication is at the heart of my search for truth, regardless of the medium."Putting pen to paper in 1999 he began writing screenplays to further his artistic goals, and stepped behind the camera in 2001, creating Noiro Films.In 2003 he co-created Krimson-Noiro Productions, which served to build upon his production experience and produce projects such as television commercials, corporate training films, music videos, and short films that pushed the boundaries of traditional story telling, while maintaining entertaining and commercial sensibilities.In 2005 he created Acting Boot Camp, a place where actors could work and focus on practical, no nonsense aspects of their craft in a demanding, yet safe and supportive environment. Alumni include: Kimberly Jurgen, Jo Howarth, Karen Morgan, Bobbie Elzey, James Lentini, Jessica McGuire, John A. Jones, Greyson Chadwick, Roxzane T. Mims, and Vince Canlas.In 2006 Richard's film "The Bridge" was accepted into the Dixie Film Festival.In 2008 Richard Todd Aguayo married Bria Sativa Horn.In 2010, Krimson-Noiro Productions successfully evolved into rta filmworks and was acquired by razorsharp creative, a marketing and advertising consultation & design company, as their video production unit.Richard has a son, Orion Hayden Aguayo, who was born in 1993 and has been one of his closest collaborators, and is his utmost inspiration.
