New York native Richard "Rich" Meiman has wanted to be a professional actor since visiting Los Angeles with his family as a child and taking in Universal Studios. Rich acted throughout his youth and later joined the inaugural class of the Lehman College Theater for The Performing Arts. He set his dream aside to focus on raising a family and enjoyed a career as a publisher and later as an investment banker. In 2012, Rich decided that it was time for him to leave corporate America and pursue his dreams of becoming a professional actor. He immediately landed (featured) background roles on television and in feature films. His professionalism, work ethic and natural ease on camera endeared him to top directors and actors, including Michael Slovis (Law & Order: SVU), Ed Bianchi (Boardwalk Empire) Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) and Paul Rudd (All is Bright).Rich soon landed lead roles in memorable short films and feature length indie films, including: "Ask Jeeves: Where is He Now?", "Nostrae Realitate", "Under the Table", "Charlie, Trevor and a Girl Named Savannah" (Supporting Role) and "1.7 Alpha". It was on the set of "1.7 Alpha" that Rich first worked with a promising young director named Quanah Jay Hicks. Quanah Jay Hicks has cast Rich as a principal in his upcoming feature film, "Saturn's Window".Rich is known for his leadership on set, his positive attitude and his inviting personality. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, participating in workshops throughout New York and watching films. Show less «
