Rhonda Marie was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She showed a love of dance at an early age and always performed for friends and family. At the age of 3 her mother enrolled her in ballet and tap classes at The Raleigh School of Dance Arts under the direction of the late Walter Stroud. At 14 she became a student at The North Carolina School of the Arts majoring in modern dance under Richard Gain and Mabel Robinson. She was also a member of the Raleigh Civic Ballet for 8 years.Rhonda is a graduate of Needham B. Broughton high school & Louisburg College where she was voted Homecoming Queen at both schools by her peers. At Louisburg College she put her dancing skills into play by choreographing a stage production of Shenandoah. Later in her first year of college she had the opportunity to work with her idol Debbie Allen in the film "Stompin' at the Savoy" in Wilmington, NC. That opportunity led to more dance roles and featured parts in TV movies and Feature films in the North Carolina area.While working for Midway Airlines as a flight attendant Rhonda booked a supporting role in a CBS TV mini series called "Shake Rattle and Roll". She played Lucille a member of a 60's singing group called the Emeralds along with Samaria Graham and Chante Moore. In promoting the series she was featured in several magazines including Harpers Bazaar, People, TV Guide, Black Hair and US Weekly.In 2003 she relocated to Miami, Florida and started a commercial career and learned the production side of the business working as a casting assistant for Ethnicity Model Management.Rhonda has appeared in several productions as well as Wilde Salome a film by Al Pacino. She is a regular crew member for HBO's hit show True Blood and a regular on ABC's hit show Private Practice. In 2008 Rhonda also fulfilled another goal of starting a production company named Goldie Belle that also includes other artists in the entertainment industry. Show less «
