Reyna is one of the most unique people you will ever meet. She resides in Long Beach but is a country girl at heart, hailing from the Imperial Valley. Daughter of Johnny Velarde (handyman/Carpenter) and Susan King (nurse/teacher). She attributes her independence, drive, and heart to her parents. Reyna Went to Imperial High School, graduating in 2001 when she was only 17. Immediately after graduation, she moved to San Diego to attend community college at Cuyamaca and Grossmont Colleges. In 2004 she graduated and transferred to CSU, Long Beach to receive her Bachelors (2006) and Masters (2009) degrees. While in college, she participated in Forensics (speech and debate). Reyna took her mothers words to heart, and received her education before perusing her acting career. She loves comedy and horror (which is funny... right?!) She is hilarious when she's teaching her college courses but her humor is more appropriately featured at The World Famous Comedy Store, The Downtown Comedy Club, Flappers, and the HaHa Café, sharing the stage with Garret Morris, Luenell, and Dane Cook. In addition to stand-up comedy, she's trained with LA Connections performing short-form improv shows to a live audience.Reyna (or Chainsaw Queen) is a regular scare-actor with TenThirtyOne Productions and work as their resident chainsaw character for The Great Horror Campout and The LA Haunted Hay Ride. With this company, she has appeared on LA Today, Shark Tank, LA Weekly, CBS, Yahoo! Travel, and is featured on various promotional materials.Reyna is not only funny and scary, she's also a reality star! Reyna was featured in a season 4 episode of LA Ink where she received a beautiful portrait of her father with 4 year old Reyna from Corey Miller. The producers of LA Ink loved her so much, they brought her in to audition for a new make-over show and I got it! Reyna was featured in the first episode of Drag U with RuPaul! On the show she was made over as Candy Graham! She worked the runway. She danced a choreographed dance. Most of all Reyna showed her Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent!
