Renée Vincent is an award-winning director for film and stage. Most recently, her film company, ReneAissnace Productions, was honored and listed on Southern Artistry, an adjudicated registry, showcasing the "best in the south". She is the recipient of the 2004 Film Fellowship and Award from the North Carolina Arts Council, one the highest awards given to visual artists in the state.In the summer of 2006, Dr. Vincent, ReneAissnace Productions and UNCW students traveled to Chile, South America to shoot a new project. As an actress, Renée's work can be seen in the feature film, Factory Girl, starring Guy Pierce and Sienna Miller, and the television series, One Tree Hill as the reoccurring role of Ms. Mary Edwards.Dr. Vincent holds a BFA in Dance and a MFA in Acting from the professional acting and dance programs at Southern Methodist University in Texas. She earned a Ph.D. in Directing from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She is a union member with Actor's Equity Association, Screen Actor's Guild and American Television and Radio Artists.
