Rena Kyprioti was born on April 13, 1979, in Athens, Greece. She is a graduate from The Art Theater of the famous performing arts school of Karolos Koun in Athens.In 2008, after an audition, she was accepted to study Classic Theatre and Ancient Greek Drama with the Artistic Director Anatoly Vasiliev of the Moscow Theatre "School of Dramatic Arts" and winner of the "Europe Prize New Theatrical Realities" . She collaborated with him in the theatrical play "Medea" of Euripides, which was held at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus - Greece. Further, Rena has many theatre credits that include productions in Ancient Greek Comedies that were also held at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus. Since 2011, she has been working with the award winning Director Dimos Avdeliodis who trusted her with the leading role of Nymph Kilini of Sophocles satyr play "The Trackers", that was presented in Ephesus Ancient Greek Theatre - Odeon in Turkey. "The Trackers", a delightful performance full of rhythm, instincts, gentleness, music and metaphysical comfort, has already inspired critics into writing enthusiastic praises and was invited by many International Theatre Festivals from Greece , Turkey and Cyprus . "The Trackers " was a big success which led to her next leading role, Queen Atossa of Aeschylus tragedy ,"The Persians ", presented at the Athens Ancient Drama Festival.In addition, Rena's acting experience and expertise expands not only to stage but to Feature Films, Shorts, Documentaries, TV series, Commercials and Music Video.Moreover, to pursue her International profession, Rena is managed by Sophie Papadopoulos, a Personal Talent Manager.Rena's passion for singing begun in 2009 and continues till today. She has participated in live concerts with Thanasis Polykandriotis, the founder of the group which inaugurated the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens -Greece.
