On May 23rd, 2012, Remigio "Remy" Gonzalez, was sentenced to nine years in state prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. Lisa Gonzalez, wife of Remigio Gonzalez and sister to Buddy Valastro, has been divorced from Remigio around the same time. Whether this incident was the cause of the divorce, has not been disclosed.
