An adept singer he has sung on the soundtracks of over 70 major motion pictures including Avatar, Frozen, The Matrix, Spider Man, The Simpsons Movie, X-Men, Seven Pounds, Tangled, Oz the Great and Powerful, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, 50 Shades of Grey and War of the Worlds in which John Williams said of Mr. Bruton: "I've never heard notes sung that low." Among his television credits include appearances on Family Guy directed by Seth McFarlane, New Girl, The Middle, Agent Carter, Dharma & Greg, The Tonight Show and The 2013 Academy Awards. He has sung back-up for Barbra Streisand, Adele, Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, MUSE, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and rapper "50 cent".He has also made numerous appearances at The Hollywood Bowl and the Disney Concert Hall with the LA Philharmonic and the LA Master Chorale. At LA Opera Mr. Bruton has performed roles in Billy Budd, Salome, Gianni Schicci, Der Rosenkavalier, Rigoletto, La Traviata, Die Zauberflöte, Carmen and La Boheme conducted by Placido Domingo.
