She has had the honor of working with Albert Brooks, Henry Winkler, and Kelsey Grammer, to name a few.In May 2007 she co-founded Off-Chance Productions, a film collective in Los Angeles. The collective is dedicated to breaking new ground in the processes of writing, designing, performing and storytelling, offering audiences intellectually and emotionally stimulating pieces.She is also a member of Theatre of NOTE (her artistic home), a Hollywood based theatre company producing original works from around the globe.She is known for cooking in her spare time and experimenting with mango beverages. She then joined Disha Theatre Company where she was part of the producing team for the staged reading of Prince of Delhi Palace written by Ravi Kapoor, at The Lark Theatre (NYC). She went on to produce a That Takes Ovaries event, an excerpt performance by local actors and musicians to raise funds for Asian Pacific Women's Center (dedicated to survivors of domestic violence) and Apne Aap Worldwide (outreach for individuals born into the sex-trafficking trade). The following year she was invited to produce the fund-raiser arts segment for APWC the at Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. She produced with Red Dirt Productions, a short film called Unfinished which is traveling the international film festival circuit. She brought Disha Theatre to LA where she produced a three-month reading series, community collaboration with LA-based theatre companies called On the Rocks. Independently she brought Uterock Night(local female musicians) to the stage, proceeds going to Maggie's Place in Phoenix, AZ (Dutt's hometown). In May 2009 Reena co-produced Anatomy of a Slap. She served on the board of Theatre of NOTE (2009-2011) as well, and works with them as producer and actor.
