Raymond Power is an actor, and writer known for Shelter (2020), Vengeance (2019), Reflection (2020), and Mr. Bleachers (2020). Power got his actor training at Pierce College in Lakewood Washington by Patrick Daughtry. He received his writing training at Seattle's The Film School by Johnathan Keasy, and Christopher Lockhart. He started acting in theaters in his community then transitioned into film with over 15 appearances in film in his first year.Raymond Power grew up in Tacoma, Washington in a single-family home filled with abuse, drug addiction, and violence. In his younger years he joined a gang as a way of escape, and yet still struggled with homelessness. Power then had his first child, and the experience changed his life. He was motivated to do better, and enrolled in college. Power had found a new outlook on life going on to win several awards for his outstanding achievements in higher education. He then began to speak at colleges around the nation on changing your circumstances through hard work, and dedication.Power now teaches life skills in prisons, and works with at-risk youth to prevent the same situations he lived through. Power gives back to his community whenever given the chance, and shows constant gratitude to the mentors that helped shape him along his journey. One of those mentors, screenwriter Johnathan Keasy showed him anything is possible. Keasey and Power begin to pen a series based on real life events that took place in Power's life that brings awareness to the homeless crisis nationwide.Power is ready to bring awareness, and change through arts. His dedication to his craft comes from the adversity he faced along the way. His motto's are "Never stop learning" and "You can overcome anything through hard work and dedication" both of which ring true, and are evident when you see him perform. Show less «
