Producer, actor, philanthropist, and activist Raul Julia-Levy has been a long time advocate for well being of animals and people. Son of the late Raul Julia, who became widely known from his role as Gomez in The Addams Family (1991), Raul has also pursued a career in entertainment acting Mexican soap operas before moving to Hollywood, California. Once in Hollywood, Raul continued to pursue an acting career by landing roles in movies such as sci-fi flick Epoch in 2000 and gangster flick Clash in 2006 where he also flexed his muscles as an associate producer. In recent years, Raul's focus has been on more philanthropic pursuits. He has a particular passion for animals and recently launched FlauntMyPet.com. Flaunt My Pet advocates for animals by advancing their welfare, advertising their interests, promoting responsible pet ownership, and fostering the human-animal bond through innovative services. Flaunt My Pet's goals are to educate the public about companion animals through networking with not only celebrities but other pet owners. After sign-up, pet owners may connect via blog posts, photos, videos, discussion forums, and more. Celebrity pet owners such as Rob Dyrdek (Rob and Big, Fantasy Factory), RZA (rapper from the Wu-Tang clan) and Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007)) have already set up accounts to flaunt their furry friends, and the list is certain to grow. The Miami Seaquarium has been the home to orca whale Lolita since 1970- the oldest known whale in captivity. Additionally, Lolita lives in the nation's smallest whale tank, too cramped to meet the needs of a whale. Numerous animal rights organizations have rallied to Free Lolita. In support of this effort, Raul has assembled some of the most powerful people in Hollywood including Johnny Depp, Wesley Snipes, Lindsay Lohan, Harrison Ford, Jonathan Sanger, Richard Donner, David Permut, Steve Longi, Hayden Panettiere, Janet Jackson, Ringo Starr, Elton John, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Plácido Domingo, Cameron Crowe, Ed Elbert, and Ron Howard who show support through donations, petitions, and various charity events.
