Rasmus Bruun began his career in radio and television as a member of the team of talents at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). Here he met Christian Trangbæk with whom he would produce several radio and television shows in his time at DR. Amongst others "Anders Pagt" ("Anders' Pact", radio) in 2008, which won a Prix Nordica Award the same year. It was also at DR where Rasmus Bruun met Frederik Cilius Jørgensen with whom he co-starred in the 2018 comedy St. Bernard Syndicate (2018).From 2014 Rasmus Bruun co-starred with Frederik Cilius and Christian Trangbæk in Go' lorte weekend (2014), a sketch show for children airing on DR Ultra. Together with Frederik Cilius, Rasmus Bruun has won several official Danish Prix Radio Awards including "Best New Show" for the satirical radio show "Damernes Magazine", ("Ladies Magazine", radio) in 2013 and "Best Radio Show" and "Best Satire Show" for the political satirical radio show "Den Korte Radioavis" in three consecutive years. All of which aired and airs on the Danish independent radio channel, Radio24syv.At the Tribeca Film Festival 2018 (April 26th) Rasmus Bruun was announced as the recipient of "Best Actor in an International Narrative Feature" for St. Bernard Syndicate (2018).
