Ramón Esquinas was born in Madrid. He studied Economics for 3 years but he didn't finish. He worked in fashion at the same time during many years in Spain and other countries. He spent a summer in London as a squatter and he moved to New York to study at the New School University. In New York he got an scholarship as a modern dancer in Ballet Arts and he stayed almost 3 years taking dance classes and acting classes in HB Studio with Uta Hagen among others like Susan Batson. In Germany he worked as a model and as a dancer around the country. He worked in the Opera House of Cologne doing 'Citizen Kane' in the Modern Dance Company Tanz Forum as an actor-dancer. Then he decided to study during 4 years with Cristina Rota working with her as a teacher and directing and starring a Cabaret show quite known in Madrid, La Catarsis del Tomatazo. At the beginning of his career he focused in Theater doing Rossencratz and Guilderstern are dead by Tom Stoppard directed by her maestra as Hamlet. 'Pero, Quién Mató al Teatro?'' by the filmmaker Joaquín Oristrel, 'Verdad o Consecuencia'' by Paola Matienzo, 'El Arte de la Entrevista'' by Juan Mayorga in Teatro María Guerrero and 'Lo que tu quieras'' by Paola Matienzo have been other plays where Ramón Esquinas has been working in theatre.
