He was a competitive swimmer, later a full-time basketball player before becoming an actor. Ralph appeared in a number of popular German films and shows, before landing a significant role in the popular German crime series Küstenwache (1997) in 2004. He starred in nearly 70 episodes, shown European-wide. After leaving the series by his own will in 2008, he took a memorable turn as an LSD & Cocain addict in Little Paris (2008), as a basketball star in Hangtime - Kein leichtes Spiel (2009), produced by Sönke Wortmann and as a lost student in the Oscar® Nominated feature film Der Baader Meinhof Komplex (2008). In 2011, after a big audition marathon, Ralph played the part of Streetdancer Martin in Sony Pictures Entertainment's Beat the World (2011) of Stomp the Yard (2007) writer Robert Adetuyi.
