Raffaela is an Italian actress best known for her roles in American television (NBC, AMC) and film. Raffaela stars in Nasty Piece of Work and plays Mona Lisa in the docudrama film, The Mona Lisa Myth narrated by Morgan Freeman. She played a dancer role in La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty) the Oscar award winning Italian film directed by Paolo Sorrentino. Raffaela was featured in Le Deuil de la Beauté (Requiem for Beauty) an experimental art film directed by Nobel Laureate Gao Xingjin in Paris. She performed on stage in the acclaimed theatrical production "Le Dissolute Assolte" in Rome. Raffaela played a comedic role in the Italian television sitcom Wilma. Raffaela began performing on the stages of Italy during her adolescence. She is professionally trained in Method acting (Strasberg, Stanislavsky) and has a robust background in contemporary dance and actor physical training. Raffaela is a polyglot fluent in English, Italian, Portuguese and French. Her multicultural appeal and talent for accents has led to a variety of ethnic roles to include playing Cuban, Brazilian, Latina, French, American, Middle Eastern and Italian characters.
