Rachel is originally from Wisconsin. She began singing and acting at a very young age. She toured churches around Minnesota with a choir ensemble called "The Mustard Seeds" and when she became old enough to drive, she began acting and modeling classes in Minneapolis. At 18, she got her first agent in Minneapolis and began booking small gigs like a featured part in "Mallrats" and a speaking part on the TV series "Real Stories of the Highway Patrol". She worked in commercials - Best Buy most notably. She received her B.A. in theatre from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. While at Augsburg she played the Maggie in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", Gwendolen in "The Importance of Being Earnest" and Audrey in "As You Like It", among others. After college she moved to New York to attend grad school at The Actors Studio MFA Program. She completed a year there and then began working in theatre around New York. She also signed with another agent and began auditioning for major commercials and print work. She nearly booked a national Clairol commercial "She's got the urge!" in 1999. When she didn't book it, her agent dumped her. Since then, she has done theatre all around Los Angeles and she just completed her first supporting role in a major motion picture - "Stag Night" - from the writer of "Flightplan".She resides in Studio City, California where she has added writer to her resume.
