Rachel grew up in Calgary, Alberta and moved to Los Angeles to attend the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television and has worked in many areas of the industry since. She originated the role of Megan Halsey in the award winning Re-Animator the Musical directed by Stuart Gordon, which ran in Los Angeles, New York (Off-Broadway) and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As a Director, she received a grant from the Canada Arts Council to develop and direct the original musical Blanche at the Banff Centre and brought it to the 2011 New York Musical Theater Festival where the Huffington Post put it on the list of "Top 20 Shows for 2011" in New York City.
