Born in Monterrey, México, Priscila Perales catapulted herself as a public figure in her native country through the world of beauty pageants. In 2005, she won the Miss Nuevo León title which took her to compete in Miss México 2006. Thirty six women from all over the country vied for this title but it was Priscila Perales who won 1st place, earning her the right to compete in the Miss Universe 2006 pageant held in Los Angeles, California at the Shrine Auditorium.A top 10 finalist in Miss Universe, Priscila Perales still had a drive to take her achievements further. She was called to host several beauty pageant events nation-wide, and became spokesperson for beauty brands such as Fuller Cosmetics. To gain television credits, she became a news anchor for the local TV network Televisa Monterrey shortly after terminating her duties as Miss Mexico.In 2007, Priscila Perales was called to compete in yet another international beauty pageant: Miss International 2007 taking place in Tokyo, Japan. Aware that winning this title would bring countless opportunities, Priscila flew to Japan, driven to bring back the crown. Competing against 90 women from all over the world, Priscila Perales won 1st place, and thus became the first woman to win such title for her México.
