After graduating in 1992 from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Architectural Engineering, Philip began his professional career working as an Illumination Engineer for Grenald & Associates in Philadelphia where he designed and engineered lighting systems.After many years working as an engineer, Philip went back to school and received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and embarked on a 15-year career as a technology consultant. His roles included Senior Consultant in the Media, Telecom, and Entertainment divisions and Director of Information Architecture. His extensive engineering education and training, in addition to well-honed deductive reasoning skills, allowed him to excel in this competitive arena.Philip is the Director of Global Solutions Architecture for Imagine Communications, a global leader in video infrastructure, advertising systems, and workflow management solutions that serves media networks, broadcast stations, digital media, communication service providers, and enterprise markets that span 185 countries. He is responsible for engineering, designing, developing, and managing the Global Solutions Architecture practice while also developing Imagine Communications Consulting offerings to help support customers' transitions to the next generation broadcast environment.In his free time, Philip is an instrument-rated general aviation pilot and is working towards completing his commercial and multi-engine ratings.He is also an internationally recognized photographer/cinematographer. He is one of only a few photographers to have a solo exhibition at the United Nations.Moreover, he has the distinction of being the first person to fly a Multi-Rotor Drone in the Chernobyl Zone of Exclusion as part of his work in documenting the aftermath of the nuclear catastrophe.
