After just a few short months he was nominated for the prestigious Sony Rising Star Award and quickly promoted to the Weekend Breakfast slot. He also produced shows for the likes of Danny Wallace and Dave Berry.In the summer of 2010 Phil hosted the 'Backstage Show' for Channel 5's Don't Stop Believing and by September was asked to join the presenting team for Channel 4's popular morning music show Freshly Squeezed, together with Jameela Jamil, Matt Edmondson and Georgie Okell.Phil featured in the Red Pages' Hot 100 to Look Out For list which predicts the up and coming names in the world of fashion, music, TV, film, politics, sport and society.Phil hosted of all of the online and radio content for the 2012 BRIT awards. Phil then went on to host the L'Oreal Colour Trophy 2012.Phil returned to Xfm in 2013 as the Friday night presenter across both London and Manchester.
