Peter Gail grew up on a hazelnut farm in Newberg, Oregon. Excelling in all things athletic, Peter led his High School soccer team to the State championship his senior year. After being selected as the Oregon State player of the year he was recruited to play at Duke University. It was at Duke that Peter's passion for acting would develop. During his freshman year he was cast in the Tennessee Williams play Orpheus Descending. He went on to appear in numerous other plays as well as earning his degree in English and Drama. After captaining the soccer team to the ACC championship his senior year, Peter was drafted to play professional soccer. After a brief stint as a pro Peter hung up the soccer boots and headed to Los Angeles to live out his dream as an actor. Since arriving in LA Peter has been working steadily. He is a founding member of the Footprint on the Sun theater company and has appeared in several productions on the Los Angeles stage including "Last Train to Nibroc", "The Lonesome West" and Shakespeare's "12th Night". On screen Peter has worked on several television shows including "ER", "American Dreams" and "Without a Trace". In 2005 he landed his first major film playing "Doc John" in the Sam Mendes Gulf War drama Jarhead and in 2006 he played the spirited "Danny Doran" in Andrew Davis' Coast Guard film The Guardian.
