Peter Benedek is one of Hollywood's most powerful and influential agents, having served in such a capacity for close to 30 years. He rose to prominence within the Hollywood ranks when he teamed with ex-lawyer and current talent manager Marty Bauer to form the Bauer-Benedek agency in 1987. While that agency lasted successfully for over four years, both Bauer and Benedek decided to form a larger talent agency - and in 1991, the United Talent Agency was born.
